Gujarat Mineral Research and Development Society (GMRDS) is a registered Society working under Industries and Mines Department, Government of Gujarat. GMRDS is desirous to recruit the candidates on the post of (1) Fellow Geologist, (2) Senior Fellow Geologist, (3) Assistant Project Manager (Geology) and (4) Project Manager (Geology) on contractual basis. Written applications in prescribed format (attached herewith) are invited from the eligible candidates having the required qualifications for the above mentioned posts. Education qualification-
- (1) Fellow Geologist
- Must possess degree in M. Sc. (Geology) or M. Sc. (Applied Geology) with minimum 50% or above
- (2) Senior Fellow Geologist
- Must possess degree in M. Sc. (Geology) or M. Sc. (Applied Geology) with minimum 60% or above
- (3) Assistant Project Manager (Geology)
- Must possess degree in M. Sc. (Geology) or M. Sc. (Applied Geology) with minimum 60% or above
- (4) Project Manager (Geology)
- Must possess degree in M. Sc. (Geology) or M. Sc. (Applied Geology) with minimum 65% or above
Experience
- (1) Fellow Geologist
- Upto 02 (Two) years’ experience which includes;
- (1) Geological Field work, Geological Mapping, Sampling, Logging, preparation of Geological Reports & its interpretation, OR
- (2) Teaching in the field of Geology, OR
- (3) Research as Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
- Upto 02 (Two) years’ experience which includes;
- (2) Senior Fellow Geologist
- Upto 05 (Five) years’ experience which includes;
- (1) Geological Field work, Geological Mapping, Sampling, Logging, preparation of Geological Reports & its interpretation, OR
- (2) Teaching in the field of Geology, OR
- (3) research as Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
- Upto 05 (Five) years’ experience which includes;
- (3) Assistant Project Manager (Geology)
- Upto 12 (Twelve) years’ experience which includes;
- (1) Geological Field work, Geological Mapping, Sampling, Logging, preparation of Geological Reports & its interpretation, reserve estimation in various deposits, Preparation of Ming Plan, Environment clearance. OR
- 2) Research as Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
- Upto 12 (Twelve) years’ experience which includes;
- (4) Project Manager (Geology)
- More than 12(Twelve) years’ experience which includes;
- (1) Geological Field work, Geological Mapping, Sampling, Logging, reserve estimation in various deposit, preparation of Geological Reports & its interpretation, Preparation of Ming Plan, Environment clearance. OR
- (2) Teaching in the field of Geology, OR
- (3) research as Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
- More than 12(Twelve) years’ experience which includes;
Monthly Remuneration
- (1) Fellow Geologist– ₹ 32,000/-
- (2) Senior Fellow Geologist– ₹ 38,000/-
- (3) Assistant Project Manager (Geology)- ₹ 60,000/-
- (4) Project Manager (Geology)- ₹ 80,000/-
